WINTER AND CHRISTMAS WEDDING STATIONERY

The winter season is a naturally romantic time of year with fairy lights twinkling and warm, cosy fires. I love winter weddings because there’s no stress worrying about what the weather will be doing! Whether you are going for a rustic, contemporary or boho themed wedding, a rich jewel toned colour palette is so striking in the colder months. Invite your guests to join you for a warm signature cocktail by the fireplace to celebrate your magical big day.

Winter Wedding Invitation Colours

Burgundy is a gorgeous option for the winter months such as The Georgia Stationery Collection. Combining burgundy and black card with white and gold foil modern calligraphy for a contemporary look.

For some of my stationery designs I use a hand painted watercolour background which can be created in any colour to suit the colour palette chosen for your wedding day. The Chloe Stationery Collection is an example of how elegant navy blue can look as a watercolour background across a winter wedding stationery suite.

A deeper hue of navy blue is a fab option for winter too. I also incorporated an envelope liner for a luxury finish to the wedding stationery. You can read more inspiration on luxury finishing touches to wedding stationery here.

A monochrome wedding palette always look chic and particularly in winter. The Emma Stationery Collection combines layers of gold foiled vellum, subtle foliage details and a personalised monogram.

To embrace a more colourful winter wedding you could choose purple. It’s paired here with modern calligraphy in white. All of my curated collection of designs can be tailored to suit the colour palette of your winter wedding. There’s lots more inspiration here!

Winter Wedding Invitations and Stationery

One of my recommendations for any Christmas or winter weddings is to use foil for a luxurious touch across your winter wedding stationery. The Eloise Stationery Collection features rose gold hot foil for an elegant finish on the crisp white card.

Silver foil provides a gorgeous shimmer used on The Rachael Stationery Collection for a sophisticated and chic look paired with grey and crisp white which works all year round.

Winter Wedding Styling

Winter and Christmas provide an amazing opportunity to create some festive or dramatic tablescapes. Personalised menus are a great way to display to guests where they are sitting, layered here with beautiful crockery and dried blooms.

Christmas Wedding Invitations

Green and red are always classic, timeless and of course festive choices for a Christmas wedding. The Ella Stationery Collection combines a luscious watercolour green background with copper foil modern calligraphy for bold yet effortlessly modern winter wedding stationery.

Green also looks really elegant when paired with crisp white card. The gold foil elevates the luxury feel of this stationery collection which includes the wedding invitation, RSVP card, table name and wedding menu.

A deeper burgundy red was used on this wedding invitation as a rich jewel toned watercolour background. The gold foil makes an elegant statement on the rich burgundy.

Winter and Christmas Wedding Signage

Green has always been popular for Christmas and winter weddings. Table plans are a great way to get creative and to incorporate your wedding colour palette, such as the green and gold used for this wedding table plan.

I loved working on this Christmas wedding which used green card with gold foil modern calligraphy for a festive feel. The tables were styled with festive wreaths and romantic tealights. Mini baubles were used to hold the personalised modern calligraphy place names I created.

Welcoming your guests with a personalised welcome sign is a lovely touch to add to your big day. Styled here with the gorgeous white florals and foliage used throughout the wedding.
