WHY ORDER WEDDING INVITATION SAMPLES?

The wedding invitation suite is the hardest working part of your wedding stationery. Not only does it set the scene and give your guests their first impression of your wedding day, the invitation also contains all the information you’ll need to let your guests know so they can start their planning! The date, the time, accommodation recommendations and more! So, as it’s a big deal you want to make sure it’s right for you, before committing to an order.

There are so many wedding stationery options online so how do you know which supplier to choose? By ordering a wedding invitation sample. Many wedding stationers offer wedding invitation samples online so you are able to see the quality and design up close! I have a range of wedding stationery invitation samples on the LouPaper shop on the website available to buy.

The wedding invitation is typically made up of the invite card, details card and an RSVP card as the main components, however I can customise yours to include as much information as you need. A wedding invitation sample is literally a printed example of one of my specific designs, enabling you to physically see how the colour looks once printed, the quality of the card and the printing method. Here’s the Rosie invitation with delicate floral illustrations.

There are lots of different printing options and styles available so I recommend ordering a couple of samples so you can have a close look at the quality and to help you make your final decision. The Ella invite features copper foil on a green watercolour background.

Shaped card adds a contemporary edge to wedding invitations, such as the angled edge on the Olivia invitation.

Having a printed sample in your hands means you can see exactly what the different printing options are, such as letterbox printing used on the Letter invite for a luxurious, pillowy look.

Wedding Invitation Finishing Touches

Once you’ve decided on your favourite design from the collections, the fun begins with choosing some finishing touches. I can add a beautiful venue illustration, a bespoke monogram of your initials or a wax seal, available in a range of colours to suit your stationery colour palette.

Wedding Invitation Timings

Before you get in touch be mindful of your wedding timings. Ideally you’ll want to send invitations out 6-9 months in advance, to allow enough time for the RSVP process. Speaking of which, I’ve got a blog post on tips on how to manage RSVP’s
