TIMELESS CLASSIC MARQUEE WEDDING

Sharing the joyous wedding day of Summer and Sean on the blog. A summer wedding which took place in a church followed by a marquee celebration in Worcestershire. With a typical British summer there were a few rainy showers, but it didn’t stop this couple from having the biggest smiles all day!

Wedding planner Studio 81 Events who specialises in marquee weddings, worked with Summer and Sean to bring their wedding day style dreams to life with a neutral tones colour palette and a few rustic details. Florist Emma Soulsby created a stunning floral arch in the marquee and florals throughout the day featuring foliage and cream flowers. The wonderful wedding photographer Ana Parker captured all the magical moments for the couple.

Wedding Stationery

I loved this stationery so much that I created it as one of my wedding stationery collections! The Summer wedding stationery collection has an elegant and classic design with a beautiful hand drawn venue illustration and hot gold foil calligraphy for a luxe finish.

Order of service

An order of service helps your guests to follow along with the service and keep them involved. Summer and Sean had theirs designed with the venue illustration which also means it’s a beautiful keepsake from the day.

Marquee Wedding Breakfast

Marquee weddings are amazing as a blank canvas to style as you wish! Overlooking the garden and with lots of light, it was a gorgeous set up for the couple to celebrate with their loved ones. The marquee was set up with a banquet style top table and round tables for the guests and a combination of beautiful high and low floral centrepieces were the focal point.

The marquee had a rustic feel with the wooden chairs. To compliment the neutral tones colour palette of the styling the tables were laid with pale beige table linen, lots of foliage and cream florals in vases and green and cream taper candles. Such a timeless wedding style with a touch of rustic elegance.

I personalised each guest place name in gold calligraphy on a dusky pink card with a pretty silk ribbon layered on a wedding menu on white card. The couple gave every guest a candle as their wedding favour. For lots more ideas on wedding invitations have a read of this blog post.

Wedding Signage

The wedding welcome sign was monochrome with gold calligraphy for a simple and elegant design to welcome guests. I love working with couples to personalise their on the day signs. I’m often asked for recommendations of signs so I’ve recently written a blog post which you can read here.

Summer and Sean chose a hanging style table plan where each of the table plan cards were hung in a frame and secured with a gorgeous ribbon. I designed the cards in the 3 main colours from the wedding palette which looked so pretty.

Wedding Party Outfits

Bride Summer looked stunning in a lace low v neck bridal gown from Made With Love Bridal and her hair in an elegant twisted bun. Accessorised with a delicate pearl necklace and earrings and Jimmy Choo shoes. Groom Sean and his groomsmen wore dark grey suit jackets with striped trousers and pale grey waistcoats and ties. Summer’s bridesmaids wore pale grey silk maxi dresses.

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.  Here’s a few more photos from their wedding day….
