SUNNY AUTUMNAL WEDDING WITH GREEN AND GOLD

On the blog today I’m featuring Ellie and Tom’s gorgeous autumnal wedding. The couple’s sunny wedding day took place at The Elvetham,an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire. With a colour palette of dark racing green, white and touches of gold running throughout the styling and their wedding stationery. All the precious moments and details were captured by wedding photographer Lauren Mitchell.

The wedding ceremony took place in the Oak Room at The Elvetham, with rich oak panelling on the walls, ornate fireplace and a romantic ambience.  Fresh foliage and white floral arrangements were created by florist White Lilac, as a focal point for where the couple were wed, along with luscious green foliage styled with romantic candles in glass vases along the aisle.

Wedding Stationery

Ellie and Tom chose the elegant Carmen wedding stationery collection from my curated collection of wedding stationery designs. They requested for a venue illustration to be added and for hot foil printing to create the luxurious shine. This is a lovely example of how my curated collection of designs can be customised to suit a couple’s wishes and the colour palette of the wedding day.

Wedding Breakfast Set Up

For the wedding breakfast, round tables were set up in The Elvetham’s library featuring an ornate stone fireplace, original bookcases and lots of natural light streaming through the windows.

For each table name I personalised with gold calligraphy on a dark racing green card and added a bespoke monogram of the couple’s initials along the top. The tables were styled with a beautiful green and white floral arrangement in a tall glass vase, tealight candles in gold jars and smaller florals in glass vases.

Each table had a wedding menu designed with black text and a touch of calligraphy onto white card along with the couple’s bespoke monogram.

For each place name I hand calligraphered in gold onto a diamond shaped racing green card, tied with a gold tassel and placed onto a white napkin.

Ellie and Tom chose to have a printed order of service with their wedding venue illustration and bespoke monogram as per their wedding invitation, so their guests could follow the service and it’s also a lovely keepsake of the day!

Wedding Signage

For the larger signage in the Carmen collection the couple opted for a combined welcome and order of events sign. I created this using white text and gold vinyl accents on the dark racing green background and Ellie and Tom’s bespoke monogram at the top.

The wedding table plan followed the same colour palette for consistency. The larger signage items and stationery on the day provide a great opportunity for pops of colour throughout the wedding venue.

Wedding Outfits

Ellie looked stunning in her Suzanne Neville dress with dropped sleeves and a full skirt. Her hair was twisted into an up do and she accompanied her elegant bridal look with a veil, drop pearl earrings and a pearl bracelet. Tom wore a morning suit from London based tailor Neal and Palmer with a cream waistcoat and blue tie.

Thank you, Ellie and Tom, for choosing me as one of your wedding suppliers. I wish you all the happiness for your future together! Here’s a few more pics from their wedding day…..
