Sharing a stylish and elegant winter wedding on the blog this week! Kirsty and Tyler held their wedding celebration at Kin House, a beautiful restored Georgian manor in the Wiltshire countryside. Wedding Planner and Stylist Bluebird Creative brought the couple’s gorgeous vision to life using flowers and bows as key details and a colour palette of pink and duck egg tones, with touches of gold and pops of deep burgundy for contrast. All the stunning details were photographed by Winnington and Coe.
Wedding Invitation
Kirsty and Tyler chose a bespoke design for their wedding stationery with a beautiful watercolour ikat pattern to represent bride Kirsty’s South American heritage. Combined with a wedding venue illustration and black calligraphy to personalise the invitations with their names.
Reserved signs for your ceremony are always a good idea to ensure your close family are seated right at the front, especially when they co-ordinate with the rest of the stationery items on the day and are designed with gold calligraphy for a luxury touch.
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
Round tables were set up for the wedding guests with lots of taper candles in an array of golden candlestick holders to provide a romantic atmosphere throughout the room. The earthy colours look so gorgeous running through the napkins, candles and incredible flowers by Honeysuckle Flower Co.
Each table had a table name which I personalised with hand drawn calligraphy in gold ink.
I also hand calligraphered each of the guest place names in gold onto layers of vellum and white card which were tied to the linen with a beautiful ribbon to bring texture.
Every guest wants to know what the food is so having a menu on the table is always a good idea! I designed the menu to co-ordinate with the same pretty watercolour border, a touch of gold calligraphy and easy to read typography.
Wedding Signs
Curved signage is really having a moment with couples! I’ve had lots of requests for curved signage and I think it’s because it creates such a gorgeous impact. Kirsty and Tyler combined their sign as a welcome and order of events using icons, styled with the stunning florals and romantic candlelight.
For the table plan the couple opted for blush pink card with gold calligraphy for each of the table names, combined with white text. Each card was accessorised with a ribbon bow and placed on the printed patterned background, the same pattern used throughout the stationery. The table plan looked so pretty next to the let’s eat signage.
Wedding Outfits
Stunning bride Kirsty wore a slim fitting bridal gown with lace detail sleeves and bodice, accessorised with a veil and pretty hairband with loose curls. Her bridal bouquet was made up of the seasonal colours within their colour palette used in the styling. Groom Tyler looked dapper wearing a tuxedo suit and black tie with a white shirt.
This was such a gorgeous wedding day to be a supplier for. I wish Kirsty and Tyler all the future happiness. Here are a few more photos from their beautiful day…
