STYLISH WINTER MONOCHROME AND FOLIAGE WEDDING

Jenna and Will held their big day in early December at Cotswolds based Hyde House. The ceremony took place in The Grange, a bright and airy space with huge bay windows, rustic oak beams and farmhouse style doors.

Wedding Stylists styletopiauk worked with wedding florist The Stow Flower Shop to create large floral towers with foliage and a range of white florals as the gorgeous backdrop for the couple to say their ‘I do’s’. An abundance of foliage was used down along the pathway of the aisle for a gorgeous cosy winter wedding feel. The styling used monochrome mixed with the foliage and touches of gold throughout the day. Wedding photographer Pat Patridge captured all the stunning details.

Marquee Wedding Breakfast

The barn was set up with banquet rustic wooden tables and chairs with floral installations and fairy lights on the beams. Lush green foliage and white florals were used as statement table runners with black taper candles and gold tealights providing a romantic feel.

Each of the tables housed the wedding menu where I used a touch of hand drawn calligraphy in black on white card nestled amongst the foliage, white flowers and berries.

I personalised each guest place name using hand drawn modern calligraphy in gold ink onto a black card. This was placed on a white napkin and styled with a spring of eucalyptus.

Wedding Stationery

Jenna and Will chose the Hollie wedding stationery collection from my curated collection of wedding stationery designs and requested a black and white colour palette with a touch of gold. All of the wedding stationery collections on the LouPaper website can be customised to suit your wedding colour palette and style. So for Jenna and Will I personalised the save the date and the wedding invitation using calligraphy in gold foil for their names.

Large Wedding Signs

The couple chose a large sign to welcome their guests incorporated with an order of the day. I designed the sign with black calligraphy on a white background for consistency with the stationery. The sign was styled with more of the foliage, white wedding flowers and candles in lanterns.

The table plan had a calligraphy header and a simple modern text in black on a white background, suspended on a rustic frame and styled with more of the stunning florals, foliage and candles.

Small signs

I love designing small designs for any particular parts of the wedding day you’d like to let your guests know about. Jenna and Will chose a sign for their gorgeous favourite cocktails, personalised with calligraphy in white on black card.

Wedding Couple Styling

Bride Jenna looked incredible in a strapless bridal gown by Aleena Leena Bridal which featured a fitted bodice, flowing skirt and lace detail throughout. Jenna’s hair was styled into glamorous soft waves and accessorised with a statement beaded hair band for a contemporary look. Groom Will looked dapper in a black tie suit with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie.

Let’s just take a moment for the cake! An incredible 3 tier cake with textured buttercream, edible gold leaf and decorated with florals and foliage. I designed the cake sign to let the guests know the flavours too!

The bridesmaids wore black silk maxi dresses from Pretty Lavish to accompany the monochome styling, with pretty hair up do’s. Each of the bridesmaids held a bouquet of the foliage and white florals to match Jenna’s gorgeous bridal bouquet. The best men wore black tie suits to match with Will.

A huge thank you to Jenna and Will for choosing me to be a wedding supplier.  Your wedding day looked incredible and I wish you all the happiness for your future together! Here’s a few more photos from their stunning wedding day….
