Micklefield Hall, a country house and barn venue in the Hertfordshire countryside was the location for Keira and Lloyd’s summer wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space is a beautiful oasis for summer weddings. The couple chose a gorgeous pastel colour palette of sage green and blush pink, accompanied with lots of rustic luxe touches throughout the styling of the day.
Rustic Barn Wedding Styling
Round wedding breakfast tables were set up in the beautiful rustic barn with crisp white linen and wedding chairs. Ever After Weddings provided the gorgeous, tall, floral displays in an array of soft neutrals and blush pinks, including garden roses, sweet peas and delphiniums, to match Keira’s pretty bridal bouquet.
For the wedding tables, I calligraphered each table number in gold vinyl on to a green Perspex background.
Each guest place setting had their name printed on white card, layered on a blush pink menu and secured with a contemporary gold clip.
Wedding Signage
I love seeing how the on the day signage I provide is styled on the big day. Ever After Weddings styled Keira and Lloyd’s wedding welcome sign with rustic wooden crates and pastel florals. I designed the welcome sign with gold vinyl calligraphy adhered to a hand painted green Perspex background which was placed onto a rustic wooden easel.
The order of the day sign used the same colour palette to let guests know the timings of the day.
I can create small signs for anything you would like to highlight to guests on your wedding day. This example shows shiny gold foil calligraphy on a pale pink background which blends seamlessly with the beautiful pastel blooms.
Keira looked gorgeous in the Suzanne Neville strapless and slim fit ‘Alouette’ dress with button detailing on the v neck back, bought from Ellie Sanderson. Keira’s hair was styled into a textured bridal bun with a full-length embroidered veil to complete her bridal look.
Keira’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous, wearing sage green maxi dresses.
Lloyd wore a smart suit with tweed waistcoat and blush pink tie, with his groomsmen in tweed jackets.
Thank you, Keira and Lloyd, for letting me be a small part of your big day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. Here’s some more images from their rustic wedding day…..
