Fiona and Simon got married at Clock Barn, a romantic barn wedding venue in the Hampshire countryside. The venue features a long private driveway, historic clock tower, a preparation room which can be used throughout the wedding day, beautiful gardens and the stunning barn which can be styled however you choose.
Mia Photography captured all of the gorgeous details of Fiona and Simon’s big day. Stunning cream florals with pops of blue and an abundance of foliage were styled in the barn for the civil ceremony and green stationery was used throughout for a cohesive look.
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
For the wedding breakfast the barn was set up with round tables with a large floral display as the table centrepiece and romantic fairy lights on the beams. With wooden chairs to accompany the rustic barn styling, fresh white linen, silver cutlery and white crockery.
I designed stationery with a watercolour green background for on the day. The table numbers had a watercolour green background paired with white calligraphy. Each place name was hand calligraphered in gold.
For a similar look have a browse of The Ella Stationery Collection from my collection of wedding stationery designs on my website. The Ella uses bold copper foil calligraphy for a shimmery effect.
Wedding Signage
Fiona and Simon chose a welcome sign which also included the order of events to inform their guests of what was happening and when on their wedding day. Using the same green watercolour background paired with gold calligraphy and white text.
The table plan also incorporated touches of gold calligraphy on the watercolour green background. Placed on a rustic wooden easel and adorned with gorgeous green foliage.
Wedding Cake
The three tiered, part iced wedding cake was placed on a wooden log slice to continue the rustic styling and decorated with fresh flowers.
Wedding Outfits
Fiona wore a beautiful lace bridal gown with a v neckline and a low back. Accessorised with a full length veil and diamond blue earrings. Fiona’s hair was styled in a half up do and loosely curled for a romantic look with flowers added to sit above where her veil was fastened.
Simon wore a blue suit with a pale blue waistcoat, white shirt, matching paisley pink tie and pocket square, accessorised with brown shoes.
Fiona’s bridesmaids wore an assortment of navy blue dresses and each had a gorgeous bouquet tied with a silk ribbon to co-ordinate with Fiona’s.
Thank you so much to Fiona and Simon for having me as a part of the wedding day. I wish the couple a very happy future together. Here’s some more photos from their wedding day…..
