ROMANTIC RUSTIC BARN WEDDING WITH BURGUNDY, PINK AND BLUE

A beautiful barn wedding for these two Harry Potter loving ladies! Steph and Kathryn tied the knot at country wedding venue Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire. With a gorgeous colour palette of pinks and burgundy combined with a touch of blue. All the glorious details of the day were captured by wedding photographer Sally Forder. Barn weddings are the perfect backdrop for a rustic wedding day, combined here with elegant blooms to create this romantic rustic wedding style.

Wedding Breakfast Set Up

Round tables were set up in the barn for the wedding breakfast. With styling by Deborah Allen featuring tablecloths, drapes, runners and napkins all in a combination of burgundy and soft pink. Ceiling lanterns brought in a touch of blue and romantic fairy lights were used to create a lovely ambience. Beautiful floral arrangements were used for table centrepieces in a combination of high and low floral designs.

The couple chose the Olivia wedding stationery collection from my curated collection of wedding stationery designs, with modern angled edges and hand drawn calligraphy. Each of the collections can be customised to the colour palette of your big day. Steph and Kathryn chose burgundy and pink for a cohesive look and feel on their wedding day.

The Harry Potter theme ran throughout the wedding day. I personalised the burgundy table names in gold for the Harry Potter references and added famous quotes in white for each of the tables.

Every guest name I hand calligraphered in gold ink onto burgundy card, layered with a blush pink menu with burgundy calligraphy and text.

Wedding Welcome Sign

I love a wedding welcome sign to welcome guests in style! I personalised Steph and Kathryn’s sign with their names in burgundy calligraphy ink, on a pale pink background with a contemporary angled edge. The sign was styled on a gold frame with their beautiful wedding blooms.

For the order of the day sign we used icons for a fun way to let guests know what was happening and when.

You can have any signage you wish for your wedding day. Large or small I can add calligraphy to personalise and make it cohesive with all the rest of your on the day stationery. This was a gorgeous one for the ceremony!

Thanks to Steph and Kathryn, for choosing me as a supplier for your beautiful colour-filled wedding day! I wish you a very happy future together. Here’s a couple more pics…..
