Set the tone for your big day with personalised wedding stationery, giving a truly elegant touch to wow your guests and portray your unique style and personality.
My small creative studio specialises in designing custom wedding stationery, using modern calligraphy and hand lettering. Pen and ink touches look luxe and elegant across wedding stationery designs and calligraphy is my favourite way to personalise wedding stationery.

What wedding stationery can you personalise?
Save the dates and wedding invitations are usually what come to mind for personalised wedding stationery. You can embrace the unique aspects of your wedding and set the scene for your guests before the big day arrives, taking inspiration from the seasonal colours of the wedding date, floral details inspired by your wedding flowers, or illustrations of the venue.
And there are so many other opportunities for customising stationery on the big day itself. Consider table plans, a welcome sign, order of service, table names, wedding menu, place names and more.
A personalised wedding welcome sign is a gorgeous way to welcome guests on arrival such as this one which complimented the green watercolour background used from The Ella Stationery collection.

Your order of events can be displayed as signage so guests can refer to the timings of what is happening on the wedding day.

A unique option to personalise wedding stationery is a hand drawn illustration of your venue included as part of your wedding invitation design. The illustration creates a glimpse of where your nuptials are taking place to your guests, to start building excitement as they open the wedding invitation. The original venue drawing is also included for you to have as a keepsake. So if you’re getting married somewhere special why not use as a feature!

Can you personalise wedding envelopes?
One option to personalise wedding invitation envelopes is by using a bespoke monogram of your initials. Typically these are created these using hand lettered calligraphy. A bespoke monogram can be used across your wedding stationery and works well on an envelope as shown in The Carmen wedding invitation.

Envelope liners are another option to personalise envelopes and create a wow factor as guests open their wedding invitation. Envelope liners are available in a range of designs to match your wedding stationery.
The Chloe Stationery collection uses a blue watercolour design in the envelope liner to match the watercolour across the stationery.

Can you personalise wedding menus?
Absolutely you can! Having a wedding menu as part of the table setting is a great way to add colour and style to your wedding tablescape. A popular option recently is to layer your wedding menu along with hand calligraphed place names for a unique and personal touch as shown here…

Place names are available in many different options from traditional folded place cards to contemporary flat Perspex tiles. I love exploring with different materials and textures for my hand drawn modern calligraphy!
Can you personalise wedding table names?
Table names help to create additional colour and interest to any wedding tablescape. Whether the wedding table name is framed, handing or freestanding, the table names can be personalised to your wedding colour palette and style, with or without hand drawn modern calligraphy!
Here’s an example of a hand drawn modern calligraphy table name on a lilac watercolour background complemented by the pastel flowers and which matches the lilac watercolour wedding stationery.

For this brightly coloured wedding we also used angled edges on the table names for a contemporary look.
