Featuring a luxurious and colourful outdoor styled shoot on the blog today. This shoot took place in the beautiful gardens at wedding venue Bury Court Barn in the Hampshire countryside. The gardens with their gorgeous wildflowers are the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and chilled wedding vibe. The shoot was styled by Hair and Make Up Artist Rosie Hart, alongside Laura and Jon from VLA Photography, who captured all the beautiful details.
Part of the inspiration behind this look was to bring the inside to the outside, which was achieved by using glamorous chandeliers for lighting. This wedding also has a Grecian influence running across the styling, from the bride’s dress, the use of olive tree branches and the rich colourful palette of blues, greens and purples.
Outdoor Wedding Table Styling
A luxurious wedding table set up using bursts of wild purple and fuchsia blooms. The florals and foliage include beautiful Hydrangeas, Eucalyptus, Rose hips, Orchids and olive branches. Styled alongside coloured glassware and candlesticks placed in elegant candleholders. The stunning chandeliers add opulence and luxury to the wedding table set up. All balanced out with greens from the vines and olive branches.
Green and White Wedding Stationery
The wedding stationery suite was inspired by the Grecian theme, using green and crisp white to balance out the rich colours used in the shoot. I love personalising wedding stationery designs with modern calligraphy and this collection is The Amelia Stationery Collection from my curated collections of designs. Featuring crisp white and greens with a watercolour foliage design.
Every guest name is personalised using hand drawn modern calligraphy in white on a bright teal card. Layered on a crisp white wedding menu which continued the watercolour foliage theme from the wedding stationery suite. Styled with the rich navy linen and colour pop of blooms tied with string.
Wedding Cake Styling
What a beautiful two-tier wedding cake created by Fig & Flora, accessorised with figs and gorgeous olive branches, inspired by the Grecian theme.
I loved this corner of the shoot which was styled with gorgeous velour chairs for a relaxed seating area. I created this rustic sign “All because two people fell in love” with modern calligraphy. On the day wedding signage is a fab way to create a wow factor with opportunities to get creative!
The Bride Wears…
The bride wears a contemporary Grecian inspired dress with elegant arm drapes by Sophie Rose Bridal who specialise in effortless, ethereal wedding gowns. The bride’s hair was kept simple with big, bouncy curls, styled with a delicate veil, accessorised with a gold and diamond crown by Debbie Carlisle. Rosie kept the bride’s make up natural with a bronzed look and enhanced her beautiful eyes with individual lashes.
The bridal bouquet uses wild, relaxed and romantic blooms and foliage with lots of texture and dimension. So beautiful!
