A glorious boho themed styled shoot at the gorgeous Silchester Barn in the Hampshire countryside. This venue has a stunning 400-year-old oak beamed restored barn, which worked so well with the modern boho chic styling of the shoot. The styling included textured rugs in outdoor settings to bring in pops of colour and warmth to the barn setting.
Fab photography from Fresh Shoot captured all the stunning details of this talented collective of suppliers and Bluebird Creative led the planning and overall styling.
An abundance of dried florals brought the boho theme to life with dried pampas as a main feature of the wedding breakfast table, to bring in some height and texture.
As an alternative to a table plan, I designed and created escort cards for an impactful display. I hand calligraphered each one and beautiful florals were added to match the dried wedding flowers used throughout. I opted for white calligraphy on a range of muted, earthy toned cards.
Rustic Chic Boho Table
I love a boho theme as an opportunity to play with different textures and rustic, earthy tones and this shoot demonstrates how a few key pieces can pull a boho style together for the wedding breakfast table. Different table linens combined with dried florals in an assortment of mini vases and a mixture of earthy toned candlesticks helped achieve a stylish and rustic boho look. The table name was kept simple with a touch of calligraphy in grey on a white card, placed on a mini wooden easel.
To incorporate the wedding flowers into each place name, after hand calligraphing each card, I cut a slot so the assortment of dried florals could be easily added.
Small signage is a lovely way to let wedding guests know any details of the day, such as this cake signage. It enables your stationery to bring colour and a style to the wedding day as well as keep consistency across the save the dates, wedding invitations and on the day stationery.
Bridal Looks
For this shoot a model couple were styled in a beautiful bridal gown by Bride by Aster featuring lace detail and lovely boho waves in a loose up do. To bring in a touch of a Texan theme, the groom wore a striking burnt orange suit jacket by Black Tie Crowthorne.
Beautiful flower crowns are a perfect boho accessory to add to a bridal look. Folky Dokey who specialise in dried floristry supplied the flower crowns for this shoot. The brides both held bouquets made up of dried florals including pampas.
