I love working with talented photographers to create lots of inspiration for couples planning their wedding days. This stunning styled shoot was organised by wedding photographer Safrina Smith as part of a workshop with an incredible line up of suppliers.
The shoot took place at Iscoyd Park, a private country house wedding and events venue in the UK, featuring a classical Georgian house but with a modern attitude. Talented wedding planners and event stylists The Two Hummingbirds were on hand to create the stunning styling inspired by Italian chic weddings but with soft, laid back touches.
Wedding Table Styling
Florist Boon and Moon filled the room with stunning floral designs using an abundance of foliage, cream and pastel flowers and touches of pampas grass. Romantic candles and an assortment of vases were styled on the table with rustic wooden chairs and touches of olive-green linen. Grapes, figs and forest fruits were placed along the table for a touch of Italian style.
Nestled between the glowing candles and florals I designed a minimalist table number in black on a frosted Perspex background.
Each guest had a place setting featuring gorgeous silk ribbon place names layered over a minimalist menu for a luxe look.
Wedding Signage
Perspex is such a versatile material available in so many colours and finishes so a great option for wedding signage. The wedding welcome sign blends in seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings. Contemporary cool and the perfect entrance for a luxe wedding.
The food on the big day always gets everyone excited! Black calligraphy on clear Perspex looks so classy and co-ordinated with the welcome sign.
Wedding Stationery Collection
To suit the luxe contemporary vibe of this shoot I designed a minimalist collection in pale grey and crisp whites with a few calligraphy touches, a vellum layer with foliage illustration and a white foliage wax seal which photographer Safina captured beautifully here.
Wedding Cake
An incredible tall wedding cake with white icing, adorned with sugar flowers by Rachel at Marie Antoinette Cakes was created for the shoot. This definitely looks too good to eat!
The Bride and Groom’s Outfits
Absolute couple goals right here! The stunning bride Alannah wears the Zinnia dress by polish designer Mia Lavi featuring a bustier style bodice and column shape skirt with an added split. With an overlay of detachable soft tulle, modern lace and tulle puff sleeves. Accessorised with a back drop necklace by PS With Love, for a stylish yet sensual bridal look.
The groom wears a black tuxedo suit with black bow tie and white shirt.
Hairstylist Lauren Gosling styled the bride’s hair into gorgeous loose waves and make up artist Jessica Ley used a bold eye and glowy bridal look. Stunning!
