Rosie and Jonty’s intimate festive wedding day took place in the historic stately house and idyllic surroundings of Elmore Court in Gloucestershire. Wedding planner Rosie Green helped the couple replan their wedding from 160 to 60, to 30 and finally down to 15 people but kept all the meaningful and personal touches in place for the big day.
Contemporary wedding photographer Richard Skins was on hand to capture all the details of the couple’s magical winter wedding day.
Festive Wedding Styling
In the cosy and festive dining space, a long wooden wedding dining table was set up next to the magnificent Christmas tree. Styled with a garland of Yuletide evergreen decorated with berries and fruits, taper candles, posies of flowers in gold vases and gorgeous Diptyque scented candles.
The colours of winter berry red, rusty oranges and greenery brought the winter festive look to the fore with a romantic and cosy feel with stunning florals by Vervain.
Wedding Stationery
The wedding stationery combined hand drawn modern calligraphy in burgundy on a pale blush pink crisp card and burgundy wedding place names.
I provided personalised place names using gold calligraphy on burgundy card, designed with a little gold foil and accessorised with a gold tassel. The place names were attached to a present from the couple to each of their guests, wrapped in brown paper tied with burgundy string.
Wedding Outfits
The bride Rosie wore an elegant, ivory silk dress by Phillipa Lepley with a ballgown style skirt and striking train. Accessorised with gold platform sandals by Miu Miu and a delicate embroidered, full-length veil also by Phillipa Lepley.
Make-up Artist Stacey Lincoln enhanced the bride’s natural beauty with a radiant look, combined with a beautiful hair half up-do, styled by Laura Hart from Hart & Hart Harrogate.
The bridesmaids wore two different styles of deep forest green satin dresses by Ghost London, accessorised with green chiffon hair ribbons.
Jonty, the Groom wore a classic morning suit from Yardsmen with charcoal grey pinstripes and a light grey waistcoat with a red floral print silk tie by Liberty. The groomsmen wore blue floral print silk ties.
Wedding Cake
Rosie’s Mother made the 3-tier iced wedding cake which was decorated by Charlene at Cherry Tree Cakerie to compliment the overall wedding styling, placed on a rustic wooden log slice centrepiece.
The wedding transport was a fab Indian car from Kushi Cars which was styled with brightly coloured flowers for the happy couple.
Thank you Rosie and Jonty for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day! Here’s some more images from their day…..
