Your wedding stationery is a reflection of you as a couple and the invitation sets the tone for the big day to your guests, giving them a glimpse of what is to come! If you’ve chosen a specific style or theme then I would love for your stationery to work seamlessly. How can we make that happen? Here are some tips to consider….
Colours
If you have chosen your wedding colour palette already, then this is a great start so we can apply the colours to your wedding stationery, too for an overall cohesive look. I love using a range of hues so don’t worry about limiting yourself to one colour. Different tones and complimentary colours can be used to create a beautiful wedding stationery collection. Here’s the Phoebe wedding invitation with soft curves and angled edges with soft curves and angled edges on red, pink and burgundy card.

Style of your wedding day
Once you’ve selected your wedding venue then consider the style of your day. Are you going for a rustic barn wedding, a more formal black-tie affair or boho vibes are more your thing? I can create stationery to align with your theme. If you’re stuck for ideas, then speak to your venue and research the weddings that have been hosted there previously to find all the inspiration!
I have a curated collection of wedding stationery designs to suit many different styles of wedding day. Have a browse of the collection as a great starting point. Perhaps your wedding style will be influenced by a season, if it’s a spring or Summer wedding then the Rosie invitation has a delicate floral illustration, perfect for a romantic wedding day!

For a more formal wedding day, a monochrome wedding colour palette always looks stylish, as demonstrated by the Lowri wedding stationery collection.

Font choices
Each of my wedding stationery collections can be customised to suit your colour palette and different fonts can be used. For something more formal we can look at adding gold, silver or copper calligraphy to create a beautiful shiny effect. I use modern fonts that are easy to read so guests can easily absorb all the information, alongside my hand drawn calligraphy which features on many of my wedding stationery designs. Here’s the Summer wedding invitation with a luxe hot gold foil.

Textures
Different paper choices can create interesting texture to wedding invitations. For a romantic or floral style wedding, adding a layer of velum creates a pretty look. Or consider wavy edges for a more boho style, as shown in the Ottilie wedding stationery collection.

The finishing touches
There are lots of different finishing touches you can add to your invitations to make them truly personalised. I can add a wedding venue illustration as shown on the Jenni wedding invitation below, a beautiful wax seal or create a bespoke monogram. There’s a blog post all about finishing touches to stationery which you can read here.
