Alison and Keith held their wedding day at wedding venue Inn on the Lake in the Lake District, UK. A gorgeous autumnal wedding with a burgundy colour scheme and lots of beautiful touches, including a boat trip for guests after the wedding ceremony! The ceremony took place in the lakeside gazebo.
Photographer Jo Greenfield captured all the special moments of the big day including this gorgeous photo of a very happy bride seeing the wedding breakfast styling.
The couple chose a wedding stationery suite with a watercolour background, touches of gold foil calligraphy and bespoke gold wax seals made up of a monogram of their initials.
Wedding Signage
Alison and Keith kept the burgundy conistent throughout the wedding day and across the wedding signage too. Starting with a welcome wedding sign accessorised with their wedding flowers, to welcome guests in style, designed with white calligraphy on a watercolour burgundy background.
The order of the day sign is so helpful to let guests know what is happening and when.
I can create wedding signage for any part of the wedding day to advise guests on details of the day. Alison and Keith took their guests on a boat trip after the wedding ceremony and used a sign to welcome guests aboard.
The couple also chose small signage to highlight elements such as where to put wedding cards and gifts. This cute hanging sign sat beside a beautiful card box to direct guests to its location.
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
The pops of burgundy looked gorgeous amongst the fresh florals and foliage by La Beau Fleurs for the table centrepieces. I love how stationery helps bring colour to the wedding breakfast tables too. I designed the table names on a watercolour burgundy background with white calligraphy.
The watercolour menus were personalised by hand calligraphy with each guest name in gold, finished with a bespoke gold wax stamp which was personalised with the couple’s initials as a monogram.
Wedding Cake
How’s this for a wedding cake set up?! A semi naked three-tiered cake by Wren Cake Design, adorned with beautiful blooms from La Beau Fleurs.
Wedding Outfits
Alison wore a gorgeous off the shoulder strap bridal gown from Eternity Bridal. With a twisted hair up do by Gregg Malloy and a hair accessory to secure her full length veil. Keseme Goodwin provided a radiant autumnal bridal make up look with a bold lip.
Alison’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous burgundy velvet dressed from Bethany Hannah Bridal House.
Keith wore a three-piece navy tweed suit from Whitfield & Ward with a burgundy tie and pocket square. His groomsmen wore matching suits with burgundy spotty ties.
I was delighted to be part of Alison and Keith’s wedding day. I wish the couple all the happiness for the future. Here’s some more photos from their wedding day…..
