Illana and Edmund flew over from San Francisco to get married in the Cotswolds at beautiful wedding venue Hyde House. A gorgeous barn wedding in May with a dusky blue colour palette throughout the styling, combined with warm, summery blooms in corals, oranges, pinks and whites by wedding florist Haze Lea, which filled every space! Wedding photographers Lucy Darby and Jade Touron captured all of the magic on the day. The couple held their wedding ceremony in The Grange at Hyde House, a light and airy barn with big bay windows and rustic beams. With a statement floral wooden arch as their floral backdrop.
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
The spacious barn was set up with round tables for the guests and a rustic feel with the oak beams and wooden chairs.
I hand calligraphered the table numbers in blue ink onto white card which were placed next to pretty floral centrepieces on each table and styled with cream taper candles. All of the stationery for Illana and Edmond was from the Clara wedding stationery collection. Each collection can be customised to suit your wedding day, just as the couple have chosen blue for their day.
For the guest place names I hand calligraphered in sky blue onto white card. The couple chose a scratchcard as their wedding favours. I have lots of ideas for wedding favours on this blog post.
Large Wedding Signage
Welcome signs welcome guests in style and are a great opportunity to bring your colour palette to life on the day! For Illana and Edmund I designed their welcome sign in blue hues with a touch of calligraphy. The sign was placed on a white easel and styled with all these beautiful florals.
The order of events was also designed in blue for a cohesive look on the day for all the stationery and signage. The couple opted for some simple words for their order of events but you can go for adding all the timings if you prefer!
The table plan had lots of guest names to fit on! I designed on a white background with a modern blue text and a blue calligraphy header. Placed on a rustic white wooden easel and styled with more of the beautiful blooms for a pop of colour.
Small Wedding Signage
I can design signage for any parts of your wedding day within your colour palette. The couple chose a jenga game for guests to write on as their guestbook. Designed with a touch of calligraphy and blue text the sign let guests know what to do.
Wedding Outfits
Illana looked beautiful in her strapless bridal gown. Accessorised with blue shoes by Loeffler Randall, a long veil and the biggest smile all day! Her hair was styled into gorgeous hollywood waves and her bridal make up was kept soft and romantic.
Illana’s seven bridesmaids each wore a different style of maxi dress all within the dusky blue colour palette. Groom Edmund and his groomsmen all wore navy suits with pale grey waistcoats and pale blue ties.
I loved being a supplier for Illana and Edmund’s beautiful wedding day and wish them all the happiness for their future together. Here’s a few more photos from their wedding day….
